A2 Level – Long Story

🟦 Chapter 1 – The Old House

Emma and her brother Noah moved into their grandfather’s house. It was big, with many rooms and a dusty attic. One rainy afternoon, they went upstairs to explore. In the attic, they found a wooden box. Inside was a map, a compass, and a small note. The note said: “Follow the stars. Find the hidden island.”

🟦 Chapter 2 – The Clue

Emma looked at the map. It showed a forest, a river, and a place called “Star Island.” Noah said, “Is this real?” Emma smiled. “Let’s find out.” They packed snacks, water, and the compass. The next morning, they started their adventure.

🟦 Chapter 3 – Into the Forest

The forest was quiet and green. Birds sang, and the wind moved the leaves. They followed the map and saw strange signs: A tree shaped like a star, a rock with a moon symbol. Noah said, “I think we’re close.” Suddenly, they heard a sound—rustle… rustle…

🟦 Chapter 4 – The Talking Owl

An owl flew down and landed on a branch. It had silver feathers and bright eyes. Owl: “Hello, travelers. Looking for Star Island?” Emma: “Yes! Do you know the way?” Owl: “You must cross the river and follow the fireflies.” Noah: “Thank you, wise owl!”

They reached the river. It was wide and fast. There was no bridge. Emma saw a boat tied to a tree. They got in and used sticks to paddle. The river was strong, but they worked together. Soon, they reached the other side.

🟦 Chapter 6 – Firefly Path

As the sun set, fireflies appeared. They glowed like tiny stars. The children followed them through tall grass. The fireflies led them to a hill with a stone door. On the door was a star symbol. Emma placed the compass on the symbol. The door opened slowly.

🟦 Chapter 7 – Star Island

Behind the door was a magical garden. Flowers glowed, trees sparkled, and the sky was full of stars. In the center was a small lake. On the lake was an island with a single tree. They crossed a bridge and reached the tree. Under it was a chest.

🟦 Chapter 8 – The Treasure

Inside the chest were old books, star-shaped coins, and a letter. The letter said: “To those who believe in magic—this is your gift.” Emma and Noah smiled. They didn’t find gold, but they found something better: A secret place, a magical memory, and a story to tell.

They returned home with the map and the books. Grandfather smiled when he saw them. He said, “Ah, you found it. I knew you would.” Emma: “You knew about Star Island?” Grandfather winked. “Some secrets are meant to be discovered.”
